How we rate a player
The scouting rating measures the level of play observed, compared with European professional football. It is neither a transfer value nor a guarantee of a contract.
Control, passing, shooting, footwork: the skills specific to the position.
Positioning, reading the game, decisions on and off the ball.
Speed, power, endurance, duels.
Concentration, commitment, reaction after a mistake, communication.
Reading the rating out of 10
Each pillar is rated from 1 to 5, then weighted by position (technique counts more for an attacking midfielder, tactics for a centre-back).

Each profile also shows the current level and the potential in 2-3 years (from A, the big five leagues, to F), and a recommendation: Sign, Monitor or Not ready yet.
Our guarantees
- A rating is based on full matches, at least one of them official. Never on highlights alone.
- Two assessors rate independently; the rating is calculated automatically and the more cautious opinion is kept.
- For a player managed by our company, at least one assessor is independent.
- No payment ever buys a rating or a recommendation.
- Under-18s are always rated “Monitor”. An assessment is valid for 6 months.
